Delcan was a pilot that was never seen in the Star Wars films,
he was just too good of a pilot... he would have made them
all look bad.

Tonight's Family Guy Episode of "Blue Harvest" was the best.
Just like other Family Guy episodes with Star Wars Spoofs,
it was right on.  My favorite line on the show was "Get your Fat
Space Ass over Here".  I do hope they make the TRUE "Blue Harvest"
which for people that don't know (wanna be fans) that means, The
Empire Strikes Back".  I can't wait for this to be on DVD, I will have
to wear out my Media Center DVD copy for the the time being.

I know I would have one... only if it weren't a Federal

I can' wait for the Star Wars stamps to be released.
Back in 1996 I had to order some from Australia
because the USA was to L4m3 to have COOL stamps.

Here is my favorite one.

Taun Taun Jedi

This weekend I was watching my new dvd's of the Original Unaltered Star Wars Trilogy and noticed something in Return of the Jedi that I never noticed before.  The scene where Leia frees Han Solo from Carbonite, I noticed a Taun Taun Head on the left hand side of the wall.  You can see in the above picture, that it looks like it is some type of hunting trophy. I can not seem to make out what the other creature is on the right hand side, maybe you can.  I looked at the same scene in the remastered Jedi and could not make out the Taun Taun as well.  I am glad to see I can still notice new things in these old movies.  Here is a screen capture of the scene that I am talking about.

Finally we get a digital versions of the Original Unaltered Star Wars Trilogy on DVD!
Yes, there were digital versions of the OG Star Wars movies on Laser Disk, BUT we had to flip the DVD’s every so often or wait for the disk to "auto" flip which RUINED it. But now we get to watch them without interruption.  These are not the COOLEST DVD's but they will do.  George is one Stubborn dude, not wanting to release the original versions so he made us PAY.  He took the fans cries too technically, here is how I think Georges conversation went in his mind...

GEORGE LUCAS:
"Hummm, so the FANS want the movies the way they were in 1977, 1980, and 1983...ahhh.  OK so I will release them like they were, no new CG, no *Han Shoots first*, no new Palpatine hologram, no Haden C at the end of Jedi Ect. OH yeah, I can't forget to make SURE it is STEREO 2.0 LIKE IT WAS BACK THEN, and I will not remaster every frame like I did on the last DVD's,  I would NOT want to ALTER it.. hehehhe CHUMP ass Fans YOU will PAY the PRICE for your LACK of VISION!" hahahahaha CHAAAACHING$$$$$$$.

At least we get the movies UNRUINED.

GO OUT and GIT your DVD'S!!!

Snaggle Tooth

Some people might not know what the above is... it is a *RARE*
Star Wars figure called "Snaggle Tooth (blue version)". This action
figure was quickly pulled from the stores because it was not what
the character was supposed to look like.  Lucas Film sent the toy
company a black and white waist up picture to create the figure
from, which is why it was made incorrectly.  The character should
have been reddish in color, half as tall, no boots, and with fur on his
hands and feet. Blue Snaggle Tooth could only be purchased by
getting the Sears exclusive Cantina Scene toy set.  How did I get
mine?  Let's look back to 1994 when I was hunting around a flea
market in El Paso Texas.  Some poor sucker had a box full of action
figures for sale that were 50 cents each.  So I SNATCHED all the
Star Wars figures I could find, including Mr. Blue Snaggle Toothand,
with (hands shaking) I paid the man and ran home.  If you would like to
collect one, go to ebay and search, but make sure you have
at LEAST $200-$300 bucks cause that is how much it will
set you back.  If you read through his crap, I think it means you
are a Star Wars fan or just bored.

I guess George heard all the Nerds cries and made it match the themes.

Finally we will see THIS SCENE

in Star Wars ON DVD.

Looks like I will be dishing out more ca$h to George to get the REAL versions
of Star Wars on DVD.  I am glad he is reversing THIS WORK he did on Star Wars

and put them BACK the way I remember them AND the way they should be.

I do have a question... will he make the WIDESCREEN DVD header, footer and Binding
GOLD to match Episodes 1-3, or will he RUIN me ONCE again and make them SILVER.

I have a BAD FEELING ABOUT THIS that GEORGE will make them some other color
just to PISS me Off.  And I bet when he does that he will be sitting in his chair
at Skywalker Ranch, licking his fingers while he counts his cash, giggling like
Palpatine saying "You, Want, This..."

ALL I want is my DAMN collection to MATCH... OHH MAN, maybe his plan is to make them
Silver Again... then RE-RELEASE Episodes 1-3 in SILVER so they match... JUST to FORCE
me to buy them again.  Man this is a never ending circle of Cash in Georges Pawz.

About five months ago I sent away for some "Star Wars Early Bird Figures" and they finally came.

These figures are only available if you send away by mail, similar to the ones back in 1977.
You had to buy the Early Bird Certificate Package ($29.00)then mail in the Certificate with the Original
reciept in-order for them to send them to you.  I was worried that I would get screwed, because
I purchased my Early Bird Certificate on the Internet. I was happy to see that I did not
get pooched like I thought I was. The figures are pretty cool but the COOLEST one is Luke Skywalker,
which they made his Light Saber slide out like the first 3 3/4 figure did back in 1977, total Retro to the MAX.

This weekend I went to the San Jose Flea Market and found some bad ass Star Wars bootleg figures. I have a couple of bootlegs that I found at Dollar Stores, and other clearence stores, but they are not as cool as these. The bootlegs I have look like they were created from real Star Wars figures by making a mold from the real figure. The funny thing about these is that they are figures that were released in 1997, but with Revenge of the Sith packaging. Each of the packs came with four figures and one vehicle, which are all painted incorrectly. The packs were for six dollars each but a friend of mine talked them down to the price of two for eleven dollars. Here are some pictures of my scores.

I was watching the Family guy and at the end of tonights Episode it had a spoof of the ending from Star Wars A New Hope, pretty well done. The cuts were almost exact to the movie, had cameo's of Chewy, R2 and 3PO,and the John Williams score. What really made it nice was the credits rolled like the ones in Star Wars. Family Guy RULES even more now.

This is Palpatine "LightSaber Attack!" with a BLUE lightsaber. Only the first run of this figure came with a BLUE light saber, now it comes with a RED one. Here is a link to the article at RebelScum.com that shows the two variations. This is one reason that us collectors FLOCK to opening day of these figures cause we know we will get lucky with some first run variation, exclusive, or rarity. This isn't only KOOL for collectors it is also much more KOOL for George who will be getting MORE of my ca$h, cause I will also get the normal RED saber Palpatine... this is one never ending "hand George more of my BONEZ" circle.

I wish I could see the day when my Great Great Grand daughter or son takes all my plastic bins FILLED with star wars MOC (Mint On Card) figures to the Antiques RoadShow and ask how much they are worth. I know the person giving the appraisal will be DROOLING at all the RARE ones I have and will be shaking in his BOOTZ at the site of my BLUE SNAGGLETOOTH. Then my Great Great Grand daughter or son will tell the story of how I got that RARE figure at a Flea Market for $.50. THEN when the appraiser tells him or her how much it is worth I am sure they will answer with a "WOW and I thought these were just some useless unopened plastic toys. At this time you will see *STEAM* seep through the dirt from my grave.

Yesterday I went to pick up my tickets that I purchased online (with the help of Mike) from the Automated Ticket Robot, and here is a documentary of it. Click here to start documentary.

While the tickets were printing I had the same feeling of excitement I felt back in 1999 when Episode 1 came out, I just KNOW this time the movie will be much much better. These tickets are for the Midnight showing on the 18th ONE day before the official day. I am planning on seeing it again the day of the 19th to see any details I may have missed the night before, and to RUIN it for others that have not seen it. I will be the one in the theater YELLING stuff that is about to happen to RUIN it for others... well I might not... but it would be funny if I did. Here is my Tickets from Episode 1 back in 1999

StarWars.com just posted the offical date for the FULL Star Wars Revenge of the Sith trailer which is March 10th 2005 9PM. This reminds me of the time when I was downloading the first Episode 1 trailer.

MORNING 1998: Joey is franticly downloading the new SW Episode 1 trailer in a office which he is sharing with a fellow Systems Administrator “Bobby”. He has been downloading this for the past hour, and it was taking so long because Starwars.com didn’t think THIS many bandwidth Pirates would be downloading it. Bobby, on Instant messenger, is talking to his other Cyber Monkeys and finds out that StarWars.com's servers are being overloaded and not able to serve any more connections because of the hammering of TCPIP packets. Joey is very nervous watching the status display showing 79 percent because he knows if this disconnects he will not get to watch the trailer. Bobby then gets up to get a cup of coffee (I guess so he can watch the trailer and have a caffeine snack) and TRIPS on the Ethernet hub which disconnects Joey's ethernet cable and CUTS off Joey’s download at 98 PERCENT before completion! Joey is STEAMING UP but just keeps on trying to refresh StarWars.com in hope that he will be able to complete his download. He is not successful. Bobby then IM’s one of his Cyber Pyratez “Hoover” across Highway 101 who has just COMPLETED the download of Episode 1, and there is no response after Hoover says, “I just finished the download”… Hoover then types “ HOLY SH*T…OH MY GOD…JHC… HOOOOLY SH****T, DAMN THAT WAS BAD! Joey is about to BLOW HIS TOP cause he has not see ONE frame of this new Star Wars ALL because the last 2 percent of the download did not finish.

LATER AT “Windy City Pizza” FOR LUNCH: Joey runs to a table and sets up his Toshiba Tecra PII 300mhz 64mb of Ram and gets ready for the showing of the new Star Wars Trailer. For the first time Joey meets Hoover, a fellow Sys Admin that Loves Star Wars and can Air Guitar/Air Drum any and every Van Halen song with the same skillz as himself. In Joey’s eyes THIS is his hero at the moment and Bobby has made up for his blunder for introducing him to Hoover. Hoover hands Joey a CDR labeled “TRAILER B” with a shaking hand Joey SNATCHES it out of Hoover's hand (almost causing blisters on Hoovers Finger tips) and begins to snap it in his laptop CDROM. Hoover asks “Will that THING be able to play it?” Joey answers “YEAH it will it is a New Toshiba Tecra PII 300mhz 64mb of Ram and 4gig hard drive, I think it can handle it.” Joey, Bobby, and Hoover start to watch the trailer and with each second passing you can see tears building up ready to drip down there faces. With each rumble of sound you can see hairs on the backs of there necks stand up. Silence is all that is heard after the viewing of the trailer. They THEN go off on how cool it was, saying “ did you see.. and then… yeah that part, the sound made me get the chills and… Bobby, Hoover, and Joey finish off the afternoon with some pizza and walk into the Sunset knowing they have found true friendship for years to come. The End

You said it YOUR SELF when you said "it puts it in a context where you can appreciate it for what it was." SO PUT IT BACK TO WHERE IT WAS and release the ORIGINAL TRILOGY on DVD the WAY THEY WERE! I was reading a Star Wars news letter from the 1980’s called Bantha Tracks, and found some Ewok translations. Ewoks were not as cool as Wookies, BUT I always wondered what the heck they said.

Translations:
Please --- Gyeesh
Thank you --- Teeha
Come --- Tyatee
Go --- Treek
Yes --- Chak
No --- Den
Hello --- Sku
Goodbye --- Yeha
Darn --- Feech
Fooey --- Kvark
Alas --- Yut ehda
Okay --- Acha
What’s going on? --- Kush drojh
Yummy --- Gunda
What’s that? --- Kush leeks?
Ewok warcry --- Dangar Ewok!
Hurray --- Yubnub!
Be careful/lookout --- Danvay!

Now YOU TOO can talk to Ewoks Like George Lucas!

Last night I watched Star Wars Attack of the Clones again for the 666th time. I found some hints that I hope that EP3 will have in it. The first one was when Obi Wan and Lama Su are talking, here is are the lines:
LAMA SU:
And now to business. You will be
delighted to hear we are on
schedule. Two hundred thousand
units are ready, with another
million well on the way.

So if we only saw about two hundred thousand clones in AOTC then that means we should see MILLIONS of them in Episode 3. So all you out there better go watch AOTC again (when you watch it and think of the actions or words tha will effect the future of EP3, I bet you will hear my voice saying "SEE THATS WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!!!") There are many more things that has been FORSEEN in AOTC. Now get off your computer and watch ALL the Star Wars movies in a row and FEEL THE POWERRR!!
