Ingredients:

1 Lbs Raw Dry Pinto Beans (Cleaned and washed)
1 Bottle of Beer (Shiner Bock if possible)
3 Roma Tomatoes (diced)
1/2 Large Onion (diced)
4 oz Can of Green Chilies Diced (HATCH if possible)
1 Jalapeno (diced)
8 oz Pork - (Raw bacon [diced], or smoked ham [diced], or pork Neck bones, or hamhawks)
2 TBSP Garlic Powder
1 TBSP Salt (add more if you like)
Pepper "to taste"

*NOTE*
You can substitute a 10 oz can of ROTEL (tomatoes, green chili) for the fresh tomatoes and can of chili.


Directions:

Crock Pot 5 Quart:

Put the beans and beer in the crock pot and soak over night (or 10-12 hrs). After they soak drain the remaining beer. Add all the rest of the ingredients and enough water to fill the crock pot (5 quart). Cook on high for 8-10 hours.

Stove Top:
