Ingredients:
Rack/Racks of Pork Ribs Favorite Rub Butter Honey Brown Sugar Favorite BBQ Sauce
Directions:
Prep the ribs by removing the membrane with a paper towel. Sprinkle rub on ribs even the sides. Place in a smoker at 225 degrees for 3 hours. Spritz with apple juice or water about every 30-45 mins. 15 mins before the ribs are done in the smoker, pre heat your oven to 225. After the ribs are smoked, place in foil, with 4 pads of butter evenly spaced a part on the meat side along with sprinkling brown sugar on top. Wrap with foil loosely and place in the oven on a cookie sheet meat side down. Bake for 2 hours. After the 2 hours of baking, flip them meat side up and open the foil making a "boat" under the ribs. With the ribs exposed brush on honey and BBQ sauce. Place back in the oven for about an hour so it will "candy" the top. After all cooking is done, remove from oven and let rest for at least 15 mins. Flip meat side down when you cut the ribs to make it easier to see the bones. |
