1 block extra firm tofu (found on the salad aisle)
1 teaspoon Bake mix or soy flour
*optional seasonings like garlic, salt, pepper, etc
How to Prepare:
Prepare the tofu. Open container, drain, press lightly between paper towels to drain excess water. Done(store the tofu in cold water in fridge).
Butter cookie sheet. Mix cheese(about a quarter to half cup)and bake mix (about a teaspoon), and seasonings to taste together. Dip tofu in melted butter, then roll in the cheese mix. Spray the tops of the fries with the cooking spray to keep them from drying out.
Bake at 350 to 375 for about 25 to 35 minutes. The entire block of tofu is only ten carbs.
They have the taste like a cross between a french fry and cheeze-its.
